It seems that Jodie Sweetin has kicked meth for motherhood. The former sitcom star played Stephanie on Full House struggled with an addiction to methamphetamine for several years. For those of you that do not know, today is national donut day. National Donut Day honors WWI Salvation Army Volunteers. Lassies, as they were called, were women volunteers that would go to the front lines in Europe and cook food for the front line troops. The food most often cooked were doughnuts, or donuts. MySpace.com has been hacked opening the door to private data of its users. Most notably private photos of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan were released all over the Internet today. MySpace.com points the finger at a flawed Yahoo API that allowed a yahoo widget to traverse into the private data of its users. Both Yahoo and MySpace have temporarily disable the function that allowed the access to private data. But, is your data on these sites really safe, is it really private? Absolutely, not.

Ed McMahon the former Johnny Carson sidekick and co-host of the Johnny Carson show has been in financial crisis since he broke his neck 18 months ago. McMahon has been unable to work since the accident. He has reportedly defaulted on a 4.8 million dollar loan from Countrywide Financial Corp. A notice of default for the mortgage on his Beverly Hills home was filed in March.

Facestat.com web servers went offline early Sunday afternoon. For several hours the site was showing a 505 error. Reportedly, without any warning the site was put on the front page of Yahoo.com causing a 1000x increase in web traffic. More than enough new traffic to crash most web servers.

The 505 error showing on Facestat’s front page breifly changed to a 403 error page. Then an hour later a message from Facestat staff replaced the 403 error with a breif message expalining they plan to be back online in a couple of hours or after they are removed from Yahoo’s front page.

Although Hillary Clinton won a lopsided victory in west Virginia her campaign is still dead in the water. She is coming under increasing pressure to find an exit strategy by June.

Clinton captured 67% of the vote to Obamas 33%. She gained 20 of the West Virginia’s 28 delegates. In her speech last night she likened her win to a referendum to continue her campaign. One wonders of she is living in a fantasy world. To just tie Obama she would have to win 172 of the remaining 189 available delegates in the remaining primaries. Plus she would have to woo over to her side 80% of the remaining Super Delegates. Although it is theoretically possible for her to do both it is very unlikely to happen.

Sichuan , China — The death toll of the earthquake that hit China in southwestern Sichuan has topped 15,000 as is expected to rise as high as 50,000 people. About another 65,000 people were also injured in the earth quake. That number is also expected to rise. About 3.5 million homes were damaged in the quake. Tens of thousands are still believed to be buried beneath crumbled building and thousands more are missing. Hampering rescue efforts has been bad weather and impassable roads.

Towns close to the epicenter have reported to have been nearly leveled. As more relief and aid workers get closure to the hardest hit areas near the epicenter the death toll is expected to rise even further.

Jaipur, India – The western Indian city rocked by twelve bombs that killed or maimed hundreds of victims. This was apparently a coordinated terrorist attack. With 6 bombs exploding within 20 minutes of each other. At least 60 people were killed and 150 others injured. This is the first terrorist attack, in India, in several months. As it stands now it is the worst terrorist attack seen in India in several years.

The bombings seem to have been designed to inflame already aggravated tensions between Hindus and Muslims. In an attempt to thwart the prospect of Hindu-Muslim tensions authorities placed the city under a day long curfew. Authorities cleared the streets and restricted tourists to their hotels.
